Darjeeling Autumnal - Biodynamic
Darjeeling is considered the champagne of teas. It comes to us in ‘flushes’ — the time of year when tea leaves are plucked. The first, in spring, is unique in its delicate flavor, though it varies from year to year. Second flush comes in early summer, and is celebrated for its taste and aroma. Grown in the foothills of the Himalayas, our Organic/Biodynamic Darjeeling Autumnal is harvested in the autumn after the rainy season. It gives a fuller body and darker cup than earlier harvests and has a mild astringency and musky spiciness characteristic of Darjeeling teas.
